Amo has always lived his life seeking solutions to problems that affect us as humans in our society. This curiosity led him to seek a career in Engineering at the Federal University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. At the Federal University of Ilorin, he studied the impact that agricultural machineries, food processing machineries can have on large scale food production and overall improve global food security.
To further understand food processing, Amo had a 6 months internship at the National Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria at Ibadan, Oyo State (CRIN) whose research mandates include Cocoa, Kola, Coffee, Cashew and tea. This is where Amo learnt in practicality how to plant and nurture these crops. In addition, Amo was involved in the farm work that involves weeding on farmland, harvesting, food lab tests and research, crop processing and packaging.
It was these experiences coupled with the food lab tests and research that led to the brand LOW SUGAR DRINKS. Amo realized that eating essential nutrients daily is very important for all family members in a home including children because it has the potential to boost our brain development and overall health.
Even though, Amo went ahead to do more research at Saitama University, Japan (Masters of Engineering; M.Eng in Civil & Environmental Engineering) and even published an international research paper titled “Effect of downstream revet to the embankment on time of failure due to overtopping” at the 37th IAHR 2017 WORLD CONGRESS, KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA; floods, flood disasters and how flood embankments can reduce damages done by floods as well as solving imminent problems that threaten the lives of people has always been the core of his passion to action.
